When they were first approached about putting together a greatest hits album, The Trews weren’t exactly excited at the prospect.
But, after getting the chance to dig through all they had accomplished over the past 12 years, the band realized taking a look back doesn’t mean you can’t keep moving forward.
“Sometimes these things send a signal that things are all over now, like this is some kind of bookend to the career or something,” said lead guitarist John-Angus MacDonald. “Certainly we don’t feel like that — we feel like we’re just getting started and we have a lot of great work ahead of us.”
