The timing feels just right for the Canadian quartet the Trews to release an EP of seven straight-ahead rock songs about living fast and drinking hard in the same month the Rolling Stones celebrate their 50 years of rock ’n’ roll. Coming in on the heels of their successful 2011 album Hope & Ruin, the band recorded the tracks for Thank You and I’m Sorry live off the floor in a marathon four-day session at Revolution Studios in Toronto with producer Gordie Johnson.
