After seeing Canadian rockers The Trews play a highly sucessful gig at the Garage in London a couple of nights before as part of the HMV Next Big Thing campaign, the boys were back in London again, with a trip to Glasgow in between, to play an acoustic showcase gig at the intimate 12 Bar Club in London’s old Tin Pan Alley just off Denmark Street.
With only Jack Syperek’s bass plugged in the band played an impressive thirty minute acoustic set with the four singing in perfect harmony with each other. Some amusing anecdotes from singer Colin MacDonald made everyone watching at ease who were mainly made up of industry types and a few lucky fans who got to hear of this gig by word of mouth.
