Review: The Trews make good on a promise to rock the house

Picture yourself in a room, listening to music. You hear this fantabulous song and you can’t put your finger on it; you just know it’s good music.  Saturday at Uncle Slayton’s, sounds reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, and Tom Petty filled the halls of Uncle Slayton’s as The Trews pugged in and rocked out.  Playing to a full house, the Canadian rock band ripped chords that, for a moment sounded like Jimmy Paige was on stage.  As The Trews started another song, Tom Petty could be playing right next to Colin.
