With time ticking away until Nova Scotia Music Week returns to Yarmouth for its third year, artists are confirmed, performances are being scheduled, venues have been booked and dozens of agents will be in attendance.
The four-day event is expected to generate an estimated $1 million in the community and attract thousands of people. While Nova Scotia towns bid for the chance to host Music Week each year because of the economic benefits, the event is also about more than just the money.
