Acoustic album and tour seemed like a natural to Nova Scotia rockers

Some may find it strange that Canadian rock band The Trews, best known for their high-octane, electrified sound, opted to release an acoustic album and embark upon a nationwide unplugged tour, but guitarist John-Angus MacDonald considers it a completely natural conversion.
“It’s just something we’ve always liked to do. We’ve always played — whether it be writing in the living room or busking on the street back in the day — we’ve always played acoustically,” he said.
